WooMultiCurrency - Currency Switcher For WooCommerce

The WooMultiCurrency plugin from WP Beets adds multi-currency support to your WooCommerce website.

You can easily and quickly add as many currencies as you desire using the plugin and then leave it alone to auto-update the exchange rates.

Included with the plugin are an optional floating currency switcher and a shortcode-based version too that you can put anywhere.

The plugin was designed to be as simple as possible to use and maintain, it adds a great deal of power to your e-commerce site for very little work.

Benefits of using WooMultiCurrency

One of the key features of the plugin is the ability to show prices on your website to your visitor in their local currency.

This has been proven to increase conversion rates as it helps improve trust and breaks down barriers seen by some when visiting foreign websites.

As the shop owner, you can choose to allow customers to pay using that custom currency or force them to switch back during checkout (depending on what your payment processor allows).

How to get WooMultiCurrency onto your website

You start by choosing the appropriate license from the sidebar to the left - you either purchase it for a single domain (one website) or for multiple domains (up to 10 domains at one time using your license key).

After checkout, you get sent the license key by email and a link to download the plugin ZIP file.

You then go into your /wp-admin/ area of your WordPress website and go to:

Plugins -> Add New

Then upload the ZIP file that you downloaded before.

This will install the plugin and then ask you to activate it, do this to turn it on.

Next, you will be displayed a list of your plugins with WooMultiCurrency in it, in the same row click Settings to view the options page for the plugin to complete the installation.

Setting up the WooMultiCurrency plugin

Once you have activated the plugin you will then need to click the new Settings option that comes up alongside the plugin (you can also find the settings in WooCommerce -> Settings -> WooMultiCurrency).

First things first you need to enter the license key you were sent by email into the first screen and wait a few seconds for it to be checked.

Once that's all sorted out you can move on to setting the plugin up just as you want it.

You can activate the optional hovering currency switcher on the front end of your website and ideally add some currencies to the list.

Then you will want to associate each currency with one or more visitor countries in the final setup screen - it's that easy!
